A customized vagrant box for testing

This vagrant box is a highly opionated customised vagrant box for my use as a sandbox virtual machine.

Usage

Requirements

Vagrant installed along with VirtualBox. Although Vagrant can be used with other hypervisors, this particular box is configured for use with VirtualBox.

Starting the box

1. Clone this repository into a directory of your own
2. Optionally create an authorized_keys file with any ssh keys you might want to add to the vagrant user profile. This will allow you to ssh into the box from another machine on your local area network.
3. vagrant up

vagrant ssh will work but you can also ssh vagrant@localhost -p 12000 -i ./vagrant. If you created an authorized_keys file, you can ssh intot he box from elsewhere on the LAN using the keys in that file: ssh vagrant@<your_machine_ip_here> -p 12000.
